This shirt was originally suppose to be on a chestnut color shirt. But … sometimes time lines and a variety of sizes needed force us to do some last minute changes … not all shirt colors come in a full range of sizes … like youth x-small to Adult 4X. Fortunately this navy shirt does … we tweaked the ink colors and wham-o … these shirts were on their way to a cool dnow.
This doesn’t always happen … but when it does … we make the best of it!

Youth groups are becoming pretty ingenious in raising money for trips and budgets. Yes, there are some that still sell candy bars and light bulbs (man, I did that) … but for some the big bucks can be found in folks who love to play golf or softball. I have friends who have yearly golf tournaments and they raise a lot of funds for special projects like … camp, mission trips, or even to cover a low budget.
It’s difficult to raise 3 - 5K … selling candy … but with some of the larger golf tournaments that I have seen … this is possible. Anyway … tshirts are a great way to promote your event or even use as give aways.

Most of our clients know that I spent 15 years in youth ministry before going to the dark side (senior pastor 15 years). At 51 … still feel like a kid and follow student life ministry … a lot. I came across a really funny guy this week … Hadley Baker … who is a unique deal … a mixture of original songs and immense humor. He is in my backyard … hails from Rowlett, Texas. You have to check out his media page and especially ‘internet chat room’. Funny stuff.
If you’re in the metroplex and need a reference he’s been to: The River Church in Rowlett. Arapaho Road Baptist Church Garland, Texas and Christian Center Church in Farmer’s Branch. I haven’t heard him in person … but he gets high marks from a lot of guys I know.

Church youth choir tours still happen! In the 70’s youth choirs were a strong deal … probably not so much any more. Choir’s in general have given way to the ‘praise team’ … I would say. But … there are still a few out there … and that’s great.
I can remember my own days as a church youth group member … piling on an old school bus and trucking down the road to perform a musical like … Good News!! or Tell it Like it IS!! Ha!! I’m really telling my age now.
Well … good luck FBC … have a good trip to Hollywood!!

I absolutely loved printing this shirt … as usual, our camera flash does not do the digital pic justice … the shirt is maroon with a brown and black all over print. The print is about 22 inches long and 19 inches wide. Distressed filters … after this shirt is washed a few times … it will look and feel like it’s about 5 years old.
The design is for a DNOW in Arkansas this weekend. I know the kids will love it, love it, love it.

first baptist church tshirts
I loved this color combo … brown and orange ringer with matching print. It’s a choir shirt for a youth group in the Panhandle of Texas. We are really cranking up for the spring and hopefully warmer weather in on the way for every where … even though we are printing a job today with hoodies. We’ll put that up later.
Mission trips, DNOW, youth camp, and vbs … will keep our presses going full shifts for the next few months .. we all love this time of year. Plus … I really feel generous too … we will be offering some killer price deals as the weather gets warmer.
