You don’t have to travel half way across the world to do mission work. heck, you don’t have to cross a border to do mission work. Lots of youth professionals are opting for helping inner city urban works. Here is a shirt that we came up with for a group this summer. They were going to help out in Houston, Texas!! They had vision to take back Houston for the Lord! Awesome. Ah, Falls Creek Baptist Encampment! I spent many summers there as a young person. Someone had great vision for starting and keeping that encampment going for many, many years. I know when I was a young person we didn’t have a cool shirt like this at youth camp. This is a customer supplied piece of art … love the colors … I know a lot of my regulars know that I push a lot of charcoal shirts … I don’t know why … I just like the way it looks … not too dark that you have to prints tons of ink on it and not too light for the dirt and grime of everyday wear. Hello? You want a cool design for your new “Hot Rod” ministry at your church? You have a tight budget. Yes, I think we can come up with something for you. That’s a typical phone snippet from daily phone conversations with folks all over the US. Here is a neat design we came up with for a new ministry. We kept the price down … didn’t charge them any art fees … they will come back. This is just a three color design with a cool gradient. The red and yellow blend and make shades of orange and red … it make the shirt look like a 4 color process shirt without the costs. I can’t believe that we are starting our 4th year at youthgrouptshirts.com!! If you make it this long … in this business … you can almost say … we can make it. It’s been hard … but, we have some loyal customers who keep coming back. Why? Because we don’t surprise them! It’s the way we say … up front and nothing more. Our clients tell us that they like to do business with us over and over again … because they can make the order and forget about it. Do we make mistakes? Yes … but we try not to make a habit out of it. We print the simple and the complex …. we are just thankful that we have made it this far. Thanks

About the only other market we pursue besides churches is … contract screen printing. Contract screen printing is a term used to describe a printer that will print for a broker or other business for the purpose of resale. Our contract clients usually have their own art and provide us with the shirts and we just print them and send them on their way. Here is one of our latest and greatest for one of our contract clients. It’s an all over print … about 22 inches long and 18 inches wide — 4 colors. Even though the finished product was on a purple American Apparel shirt … we printed the design on an extra black shirt we had around … our employees freaked and were fighting over it.

Youth Camp is always a time for a new tshirt. We know … we print thousands each week … shipped everywhere! Some designs are custom from our studio … some are client provided art … this is one of those pieces. It’s a two color gradient blend on black. The shirts came out really nice and our clients were pleased. We try our best to provide a no surprise environment for our clients and so far … we have good marks in that area. I can’t believe that we are going into our 4th year of production for youthgrouptshirts … it’s been good business and a good ministry. We fought it as long as possible … pre-designed shirts for groups. We are beginning our 4th year of production and when we started we wanted to set ourselves apart from other printers by NOT offering pre-designs … mainly because most that we had seen were pretty “cartoonish” and that’s just not us. With the economy taking a down turn … lots of youth guys began to call and ask if we had some designs that were pre-done and inexpensive. So … In June ‘08 we introduced three pre-designs through our mailing list and received 6 orders within 2 hours of the email leaving. Here is one of our first production prints. VBS is still happening. And other designs are cropping up as well. We have had a couple of requests for Cactus Canyon VBS … we also are proving this shirt as part of our summer specials … so price should not be an issue. It’s a 3 color design and a free name drop is included in this price. We have been super blessed this summer by meeting great people all over the USA through VBS. Vacation Bible School is a great ministry for introducing kids and their parents to the love of Christ.
